About Us
BOSJE Virtual Jazz Meet
In 2020 when social distancing requirements were introduced, all training and events were stopped. The music, however, could not stop.
In partnership with FNB Botswana Foundation, we developed the BOSJE Virtual Jazz Meet, an online platform to enable the continuation of our teaching programs, reaching people all over Botswana, and for the first time, globally.
About BOSJE?
Botswana Society For Jazz Education was formed in 2016 to create a platform for jazz musicians and aspiring jazz musicians to grow, to share ideas and have their work documented. BOSJE hosts workshops and events teaching and training students on Jazz Education. One of the aims of the society is to form jazz big bands in communities across the country. So far, the society has got 3 Jazz big bands, 2 junior band and a senior one.
